Amma baada ya kumshukuru Allah (s.w) na kumtakia Rehma na Amani mtume wetu na mjumbe wake Muhammad (s.a.w) sisi ni wanafunzi wa chuo kikuu cha Afya na utafiti wa tiba cha MUHIMBILI (Dar-es-salaam) tukishirikiana na vyuo vingine .
Tunapenda kuchukua nafasi hii ya kuandika hii nakala kwa ajili ya kuwafikishia ndugu zetu wa chini yetu (form one hadi form six). Sisi kama wanafunzi /waislam tulio katika elimu ya juu ya chuo tumeona kuwa tuna dhimma ya kuwasaidia ndugu zetu waliokatika kiwango cha chini cha elimu ambao tunahisi kuwa yanaweza kuwasaidia/kuwa na umuhimu katika masuala yao mazima ya kielimu.
Katika nakala hii tumeamua kiugawa katika vipengele vinne, ambavyo ni; 1. Namna ya kuiendea mtihani katika maandalizi yote ya kivitendo na kiimani
2. Namna gani utayapokea matokeo yako kwa namna yoyote ile yatavyokuwa mazuri, mabaya au ya kati nakati
3. Namna ya kujiunga katika vyuo vikuu hususani kwa chuo cha afya Muhimbili na vinginevyo(katika suala zima la kiafya)
4. Hitimisho na ushauri
a. maana ya mitihani.
Mtihani ni kipimo cha imani (kidini), uelewa au ufahamu wa mtu juu ya kitu fulani kwa mfano Mwenyezimungu (s.w) ametuandalia mitihani mbali mbali kama maradhi au vifo ili kutupima imani zetu kama tutafaulu au tutafeli. Pia katika mashule yetu imeandaliwa mitihani ili kutupima ufahamu uelewa wetu juu ya yale ambayo tunayasomea.
b. Namna ya kujiandaa na mitihani
Katika namna ya kujiandaa na mitihani tumeamua kugawa katika namna kuumbili;
(i) Maandalizi ya kivitendo
Katika maandalizi ya kivitendo mtu hujiandaa pale tu anapoingia katika shule kutokana na kufahamu kuwa ipo siku atafanya mitihani na kumaliza shule. Mitihani hiyo ndiyo ambayo itakufanya uweze kufaulu na kwenda katika ngazi ya juu zaidi au kutokwenda.
Hivyo basi hatuna budi kujiandaa kwa namna yoyote ile iwayo ili tuweze kufaulu na kuweza kuendelea katika ngazi za juu zaidi na hatimaye kuweza kutimiza yale malengo yetu.
(ii) Maandalizi ya kiimani.
Katika maandalizi haya mtu huanza katika ngazi ya kifamilia, kuanzia pale unapozaliwa hadi kufikia kiwango cha kuweza kujitegemea kwa maisha yako na hatimaye kuwa baba au kuwa mama.Hivyo hatuna budi basi kuamini kuwa mitihani nikipimo cha kuamini Qadar (kheri au shari ) zinatokana na Mwenyezimungu (s.w). Hivyo basi hatuna budi kuelewa kuwa tunadhimma ya kutekeleza yale yote ambayo ndiyo sababu ya sisi kufaulu au kufeli katika mitihani hiyo (KIIMANI)
Hivyo katika maandalizi haya hatuna budi kuiendea mitihani yetu katika namna ambayo Mwenyezimungu (sw) ataipendelea ambayo ni;
Ø kusimama visimamo vya usiku,
Ø Kuingia katika chumba cha mtihani haliyakuwa tumetia udhu,
Ø Kuwahi katika eneo la tukio (chumba cha mtihani) ili kuyazoea mazingira ya eneo husika,
Ø Kumtanguliza Mwenyezimungu kwa kusoma suratul fat-ha(quran 1) na suratul muadhwatain (falaq& nnasi) mwisho ni saratul ikhlas ni vizuri idadi ya witri ikiwezekana.
Ø Kumsabahi Mwenyezimungu kwa nyiradi mbalimbali (fupifupi).
iii. namna ya kujibu mtihani
Katika kujibu mtihani mambo ya msingi ya kuzingatia ni kama ifuatavyo;Ø Kuanza na swali unalolijua ambalo pia ni lenye alama nyingi(marks)
Ø Kutumia uwezo wako wote katika kulijibu swali ambalo unalijua
Ø Kwa swali ambalo huna uelewa nalo kabisa ni vizuri usilifanye na uliache kwani utapolifanya utaonyesha udhaifu wako kwa wasahilishaji au ulifanye mwisho baada ya maswali yote unayoyafahamu kuyafanya.
Ø Ni vizuri kufanya maswali yote kama unayaweza na muda upo mfano mtihani wenye maswali kumi na mbili 12 basi fanya yote kumi na mbili
Ø Ni vizuri pia kuwa makini na muda wa kufanya mtihani kwani muda ni s ehemu pia katika mtihani
2. NAMNA YA KUYAPOKEA MATOKEO YETU
Matokea ni zao au chumo ambalo hutokea baada ya kufanyika kwa jambo fulani ,hivyo machumo yaweza kuwa ni kuridhisha au kutoridhisha.
Hivyo matokeo ya mitihani yetu yaweza kuwa ni mazuri , ya kati na kati au yasiokuwa mazuri.
1. MATOKEO MAZURI;
Hayo ni matokeo ambayo mtu huyapata yakamuwezesha yeye/wewe kwenda katika ngazi ya juu ambayo anaitarajia/ unatarajia.
Watu wengi wapatapo matokeo mazuri hupata kiwewe kutokana na furaha waliyonayo na kukurupuka na kushindwa kufanya uamuzi uliosahihi.
La umuhimu nikumuomba Mwenyezimungu na kumshukuru na kutafuta ushauri kwa wale walio juu yako ni lipi la kufanya kabla ya kufanya uwamuzi.
2. KATI NA KATIHaya ni matokeo ambayo mtu hupata alama/matokeo mazuri lakini kutokana na alama hizo hazikumuwezesha yeye kupata kuisoma kozi ambayo ameitarajia. Mfano mtu ambaye amepata gredi ya tatu (Division iii) na ametaka asome udaktari (medicine). Muhimbili . Ni ngumu kupata kozi hiyo lakini kuna baadhi ya vyuo ambavyo anaweza kupata chuo kutokana na alama hizo. Hivyo basi ni uzuri kutafuta ushauri kupitia wanafunzi/waislam walio vyuoni ili kuweza kumshauri cha kufanya..
3. MABAYA (YASIYORIDHISHA)
Haya ni matokeo ambayo hayatamuezesha mtu kujiunga, kuingia elimu ya juu (vyuo) katika kiwango cha shaada(degree) maranyingi watu hawa huwa ni wenye kukata tamaa na wengine kuamua kurudia mtihani ili waweze kufaulu hali yakuwa kuna njia nyingine (mbadala) ambazo wanaweza kupitia na kufikia malengo yao mfano ASTASHAHADA (CERTIFICATE), STASHAHADA (DIPLOMA), na hatimae kufikia SHAHADA (DEGREE) na kisha kuendelea ngazi au kiwango cha juu zaidi kielimu.
USHAURI
Tusingependa kumshauri mtu arudie mtihani kwa maana utafiti umeonyesha kuwa wengi wanaorudia mtihani hawafanyi vizuri,Hivyo ndo maana tumetoa nakala hii kuonyesha kuwa njia mbadala ambayo ni zaidi ya kwenda kusomea ualimu.
Lakini kwa wenye kuamua mitihani yawapasa wafanye yafuatayo kwanza:
i. Kufanya tathmini ya kina sababu zilizopelekea matokeo yake kuwa hivyo
ii. Je sababu hizo zinatatulika kirahisi
iii. Basi atatue matatizo hayo ndio aweze kurudia mtihani
Miongoni mwa sababu zinaweza kuwa;
a) Sababu za ndani/binafsi (internal factor)
b) Sababu za nje (external factors)
Sababu zote hizi mwisho wa siku huchangia katika kuleta matokeo ama mazuri au mabaya, zinaweza kuwa za kiuchumi, kifamilia, kimazingira, kijamii au kitaasisi (shule).
Baada ya kutatua hizo sababu tunaweza kukubaliana na wewe katika mawazo yako ya kurudia mtihani wako.

Pia kwa maelezo zaidi ni vizuri kuingia katika website za vyuo vyenyewe (mfano MUHIMBILI UNIVERSITY) kwani kuna maelezo ya kina zaidi ya haya na pia hata muda wa kozi, ada, lini fomu za kujiunga zinatoka na tarehe ya kurudisha pia. Pia unaweza kuingia katika website ya TCU wenyewe (www.tcu.go.tz) pia wanamaelezo kuhusuvigezo vya kujiunga na chuo, ada, muda wa kujisajili, namna ya kujisajili, pia vitu vinavyihitajika nk.
3. NAMNA YA KUJIUNGA KATIKA SECTA YA AFYA
-Katika suala hili ambalo ndio wazo kuu la uandishi wa nakala hii, tumeongelea upande wa afya hususani katika chuo chetu cha MUHIMBILI.Sababu kuu ni kutokana na udhalilishaji wa kijinsia ambao tunakutana nao katika mazingira yetu kikazi kwani utu haupo, mfano: wanaume huweza kufanyiwa vipimo na wanawake pia kwa baadhi ya sehemu wanawake hufanyiwa vipimo na wanaume.
Mifano hai ipo hususani kwa kinadada zetu au hata mama zetu pindi wapatapo ujauzito na kuhitaji msaada wa matibabu na ni madhila mangapi wanayoyakuta.Hivyo kutokana na hilo tumeonelea ni bora sisi kama waislam tuna dhimma ya kulinusuru hilo.
Hili ni kama jambo fardhi (kifaya) ambalo wachache wanaweza kufanya kwa ajili ya wengi, hivyo basi sisi hatuna budi kusoma ili tuwasaidie ndugu zetu kutokana na hali/tatizo hili.
Kama ilivyoelezwa katika vipengele vilivyotangulia kuwa sio kupata matokeo mabaya kwani ndio mwisho wa ndoto zetu bali tuwe na ufahamu kuwa ziko namna / njia ambazo tunaweza kutumia ili tuweze kufikia malengo yetu.
Hivyo njia ambazo tunaweza kuzitumia hatimaye tuweze kutumiza malengo yetu ni kwa kutumia kozi fupi za awali kama diploma na hatimaye tukaweza kuzifikia ndoto zetu, kama wanaotaka kuwa madaktari (specialist).
Hivyo mwisho kabisa tunaambatanisha na nakala ambazo zinaelezea kozi, muda wake ,alama zinazohitajika , na kazi ambayo wewe utaifanya kutokana na kozi hiyo ulivyo ichagua .
Kuhusu gharama zinazohusiana na ADA , MALAZI , CHAKULA< MATIBABU, na maelekezo mengine yanapatikana katika fomu ya kujiunga na chuo.

PROGRAMMES.
The Institute is in position to provide in Tanzania learning, research and service in Allied Health Sciences that are based on curative, preventive, rehabilitative and restorative health care.8.1.1 Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
This is a six-semester Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences (DMLS) Programme. It intends to train health personnel capable of managing medical laboratory and diagnostic services focusing on preventive curative and rehabilitative health care. Students are also trained to carry out research activities relevant to provision of quality health in laboratory services.8.1.1.1 Entry requirements
Direct EntryCredits in Biology and Chemistry and one in either Physics or Mathematics at ‘O’ level.
Equivalent Qualifications
Laboratory Assistant with three years experience who has passed the selection examination recognized by the University and must have ‘O’ level secondary school certificate.
8.1.2 Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences
This is a six-semester Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences (DEHS) programme. It is intended to enable Environmental Health graduates to organize, plan, manage, supervise, monitor and evaluate, comprehensive preventive and promotional health services targeted at individuals and communities at all levels of the health care delivery system in the country and elsewhere. The programme is also intended to ensure that EHOs are provided with state of the art knowledge and skills, enabling them to be catalysts for sustainable and innovative health solutions by communities.8.1.2.1 Entry requirements
Direct EntryPass in English and three credit passes, one in Mathematics and two other out of Physics, Chemistry and Biology at ‘O’ level.
Equivalent Qualifications
Health Assistant with three years experience who has passed the selection examination recognized by the University and must have ‘O’ level secondary school certificate.
8.1.3 Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
This is a six-semester Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography (DDR) programme. The aim of the programme is to train radiographers to be able to use different kinds of X-rays CT IMRI ultrasound, CR and digital Radiography facilities scans and to investigate diseases injuries in patients. They should also be able to care for patients and maintain radiological facilities, i.e. Radiological and Imaging facilities in their place of work. The radiographer will also be trained to interpret plain radiographs and give intravenous injections where applicable.
8.1.3.1 Entry Requirements
Direct Entry
C grade or higher passes in three out of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics and at least D grade pass in English. Physics is a major subject.
Equivalent Qualifications
Radiographer Assistant with three years experience who has passed the selection examination recognized by the University and must have ‘O’ - level secondary school certificate.
8.1.4 Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology
This is a Six-Semester Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology (DOT) Programme. The programme is intended to impart knowledge and skills to students on the evaluations, design, and fitting of different orthopaedic appliances, equipment and materials. It also aims to impart the correct attitude in students towards patient care.
8.1.4.1 Entry requirements
Direct Entry
Three credit passes out of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics at O’level. Credit pass in engineering subjects is also acceptable as the third credit pass. Equivalent Qualifications Candidates must have certificate in lower limb Prosthetics or Orthotics and must have two credit passes in science subjects at “O” level.
8.1.5 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
This is a Six Semester Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (DPS) Programme. It is intended to train competent Pharmaceutical technician who can manage a district or a health care centre pharmacy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The training mainly focuses on imparting knowledge and skills to students on compounding and dispensing drugs to in-patient and out-patients in the health facilities. Also students are trained on providing drug related information to patients and the public at large.
8.1.5.1 Entry Requirement
Direct Entry
Three credit passes which must include Maths, Chemistry and English with a pass in Biology and Physics.
Equivalent Qualifications
Pharmaceutical Assistant with three years experience who has passed the selection examination recognized by the University and must have ‘O’ level secondary school certificate.8.1.6 Diploma in Nursing
The Diploma in Nursing is an integrated training with midwifery and psychiatric nursing as options for which students choose but all of them get the training in general nursing. The training is of four academic years (8 semesters). Student’s progress is assessed by frequent tests during the semesters and at the end of the academic year. Fifty percent of the total marks is based on the results of the final examinations, the other 50% is from the continuous assessment tests.8.1.6.1 Entry Requirements
i. Candidates must have completed O-level education with a credit in Biology and two passes in Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics.
ii. Candidates must have completed secondary school education within three years from the year of application.
8.1.7 Advanced Diploma in Nursing Education
This is a four-semester Advance Diploma in Nursing Education (ADNE) Programme. The programme intends to produce nurse teachers who will enhance the delivery of quality health education and health care in the country.8.1.7.1 Entry Requirements

Registered Nurse with two years experience, who has passed the matriculation examination and must be a holder of ‘O’ level Certificate with credit/pass in Chemistry, Biology and English.

Should have successfully completed any one of the following courses with an overall good performance grade(s).
- Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) in Tanzania In Other countries
- Medical Assistant
- Clinical Officer
- Nurse Clinician
- Family Nurse Practitioner Or an equivalent level, AND must possess ‘O’ level secondary school certificate with passes in Physics,Chemistry and Biology.

Tunamshukuru Mwenyezimungu (s.w) kwa kutuwezesha sisi kuweza kuiandika na kuiwakilisha kwa wenzetu ambao tunaona kuwa kuna umuhimu wa wao kuyajua mambo haya.
Pia kwa upande mwingine tunawashauri ndugu zetu waislamu.Sisi ni katika wale wachache ambao tumechaguliwa na Mwenyezimungu (s.w) kuweza kuiendea elimu hii ya sekula nani wajibu kwetu kusoma kwa ajili ya kuwanusuru waislamu wenzetu na uislamu kwa ujumla.
Hivyo ushauri sisi kama waislamu au wanafunzi wenzenu ni ;
v Tuwe wajumbe kwa wengine ambao wapo chini yetu ili tuweze kuuinua uislamu na kuwanusuru waislamu wenzetu.
v Tusibweteke (kujiamini) kwa yale machache tunayoyajua.
v Watu wajitahidi kufuatilia habari baada ya kumaliza elimu zao. Hii ni ili kuweze kufikia katika kiwango cha juu zaidi kielimu na kuweze kutimiza ndoto zetu.
